Yearly maintenance is a critical part of keeping your woodwind instrument functioning properly and will add to the life of the instrument. Wooden instruments such as clarinets, bassoons, and oboes require special attention to prevent drying and cracking.  Flutes and saxophones have their own special requirements as well.  We provide Precision Regulation to ensure optimum tonal quality, intonation, and playability. The following is a small sample of services provided by Kingston Winds.

    •    • Thorough Cleaning – keys are removed and cleaned by hand.

    •    • Tones holes are checked and leveled as needed.

    •    • Dents are removed and hand burnished (saxes and flutes)

    •    • Springs and Pads are replaced as necessary using top quality parts.

    •    • The instrument is reassembled using quality lubricants.

    •    • Play testing is standard for all instruments.
